Taco Bell Expands Iconic Feed The Beat Program to Australia, Supporting Emerging Local Talent

Taco Bell’s celebrated Feed The Beat® program has officially launched in Australia, marking a significant expansion of the global initiative designed to support up-and-coming artists. Since its inception in 2006, Feed The Beat has nurtured emerging talent in the U.S., and its arrival in Australia promises to bring new opportunities for local musicians while offering the signature fuel of Taco Bell to power their creative journeys.

The program, which made its international debut in the UK earlier this year, has already begun backing Australian talent, including Sydney’s own Stand Atlantic. Known for their electrifying pop-punk sound, the band has embraced the program’s support, particularly during their recent U.S. tour. Stand Atlantic's guitarist Miki Rich expressed excitement over the partnership, stating, "We’re stoked to be part of Taco Bell’s Feed The Beat program. Having their support means the world to us, and we’re grateful for the endless supply of tasty tacos and Crunchwraps fueling us on tour."

Feed The Beat’s support goes beyond just providing food. The initiative also amplifies artists' presence, giving them a platform to showcase their music to a wider audience. This helps connect up-and-coming bands with Taco Bell’s global fanbase, creating an exciting avenue for exposure.

The program's expansion in Australia includes some of the country’s most exciting rising stars. Speed, a Sydney-based hardcore punk band, joins Feed The Beat as part of the inaugural Australian group. Known for their raw, high-energy performances, Speed is quickly gaining recognition within the local punk scene. Their inclusion in Feed The Beat is a testament to the program’s commitment to supporting bold, emerging genres.

In addition, indie-pop artist Tiffi, whose ethereal voice and dreamy soundscapes have garnered attention across the country, will also benefit from Feed The Beat’s platform. The program has a strong focus on diversity, celebrating artists from a range of genres, with Tiffi's fresh, relatable music perfectly aligning with Taco Bell’s ethos of creativity and passion.

Melbourne-based Blusher, a trio with an infectious pop sound and high-energy performances, rounds out the group of inaugural Feed The Beat Australia artists. Blusher's ability to craft catchy, fun tunes has earned them a loyal following, and their partnership with Taco Bell will give them a greater opportunity to showcase their music on both the domestic and international stage.

“We are incredibly proud to bring Taco Bell’s Feed The Beat program to Australia and support the vibrant local music scene,” said Andrew Howie, Chief Marketing Officer of Taco Bell Australia. “Australia is home to some of the most innovative and exciting emerging artists, and we’re thrilled to help amplify their music, both here and globally.”

Since its early days, Feed The Beat has been a driving force for artist discovery. The program has provided more than 2,000 artists with opportunities to connect with new fans, including big names like Portugal. The Man, Halsey, Imagine Dragons, and more recently, Armani White. The initiative not only covers tour expenses but also boosts exposure through Taco Bell’s social platforms and features in commercials, creating a unique win-win for both the artists and the brand.

Taco Bell's commitment to supporting emerging talent in Australia marks an exciting new chapter in the Feed The Beat story. By amplifying the voices of the next generation of musicians, Taco Bell is ensuring that music fans down under get a taste of something special – both through music and tacos.
